Green Gingham, Large II
I hand picked the vintage kanthas in India earlier in the year and LOVE how all the cushions have turned out.
All one of a kind, but you might find some ‘pairs’ of cushions cut from the same kantha.
Size 70 x 50cm
Plain canvas back with an invisible zip.
Feather insert included
Traditionally kanthas were made from vintage saris which have been sewn together using a traditional kantha running stitch. Today block printed fabrics are more commonly used but they’re still delightful!
Every kantha is a one-off. Some are made from several different fabrics and some are adorned with patches in contrasting fabric - all adding to the charm of each piece.
Please note: This is a vintage item and you should expect to see evidence of wear, potentially some reparations and slight ‘imperfections’, which I believe add to the character and charm of the piece.
