A smallish square Samarkand suzani, 1970’s

This would look great on a wall, either hanging or stretched like a canvas.

Suzanis from Uzbekistan are named after the places they were made in, for example - Samarkand, Bukhara, Shakhrisabz, Tashkent, Nurata, Lakai. Each region has its own style in stitching, design and colors.
